Dark Chocolate Catanies - Bombons Cudié - Vilafranca del Penedés (Barcelona)

Catanies are the most iconic chocolate bonbons produced by Cudié. The master chocolatier Josep Cudié created this delicious Chocolate Coated Marcona Almonds in the late 40s in Vilafranca del Penedés. At that time he was the lead baker at the Joan Trans and Ribs pastry shop. He named his creation after the building that hosted the pastry shop: "Cal Catani".

Very tasty chocolate almonds. The dark chocolate is very creamy and the almond is crunchy and flavoursome.
