These delicious treats are made with toasted Marcona Almonds coated with white praline and covered with a thin layer of high quality cocoa powder.

The secret of Cudié's Catanies lies in the jealously guarded recipe of their praline coating.

Catanies - Bombons Cudié - Vilafranca del Penedés (Barcelona)

Catanies are the most iconic chocolate bonbons produced by Cudié. The master chocolatier Josep Cudié created this delicious Chocolate Coated Marcona Almonds in the late 40s in Vilafranca del Penedés. At that time he was the lead baker at the Joan Trans and Ribs pastry shop. He named his creation after the building that hosted the pastry shop: "Cal Catani".
