The production process of this Iberico ham is entirely artisan and aimed at providing consumers with the best tasting experience. This highly sought after breed of pig is extremely exclusive as the production is limited to 3,000 pigs a year.

Acorn fed purebred pigs spend their lives being reared in the wild and fully develop in their natural environment. They benefit from 120 days of feeding, which is twice as much as the legal requirement of just 60 days. This is why the exquisite aroma and flavour of authentic Juan Pedro Domecq ham is much more intense than any other jamon Iberico.

Authentic Iberico Bellota Ham Curing Process

When you buy jamon, ensure you’re aware of the source of the product and its curing process.

These wonderful hams are cured over a period of 40 to 52 months in the company's own natural cellars in the Jabugo area under the constant supervision of the “Maestro Jamonero” (Master Ham-Maker).
