This Artisan Raw Milk Goat Cheese was awarded a Super Gold Medal at the 2014 World Cheese Awards held in Birmingham during the BBC Good Food Show.
Its producer, Formatges Artesans de Ponent, is a small Catalan cheese-maker proud to produce high quality cheese using ancient methods.
Being made from raw milk, it’s intense flavour with spicy notes lingers on the palate.
Suggestion: it is advisable to pair it with a chalice of bodied red wine.
Tip: serve it with pears as a dessert.
