Mahon Cheese Gran Reserva Made from Raw Cow’s Milk – Matured for more than 12 months – ~ 300g

Produced the artisan way by a cooperative of farmers from Menorca.

Made from unpasteurised cow’s milk.

It has firm and crumbly texture.

Its taste is intense with a very long finish.

During its maturing period cheese is periodically rubbed with a blend of paprika and olive oil that gives rind its typical brownish colour.

Suggestion: combine it with grapes or pears.

Tip: pair it with an oak aged white wine or a crianza red wine.
