Picón Bejes-Tresviso Cheese PDO 1Kg - Casa Campo

Picón Bejes-Tresviso Cheese PDO by Casa Campo - ~ 1Kg wheel

Picón Bejes-Tresviso is a Spanish PDO Blue Cheese produced in the South-West of Cantabria on the slopes of Picos de Europa National Park.

The little rural villages of Bejes and Tresviso is where most of the production of this cheese is concentrated.

Made from 100% raw cow's milk, Casa Campo Picón Cheese is an intense and pungent blue cheese. Although it comes from the same area where the more renowned Cabrales is produced, its flavour is slightly smoother and its texture is more creamy.

Suggestion: pair it with a glass of sweet wine like Pedro Ximénez or Sauternes. It can be combined with walnut or raisin bread.
