It is a young cheese with a smooth, thin and hard natural rind. It comes in a uniform cut with occasional mechanical holes. It does not have any darkening towards the rind. It melts in the mouth with a note of hazelnut thanks to the purity of the milk used. It has a light taste full of personality, with a lingering aftertaste on the palate.

Zamorano Cheese is extremely similar to the more renowned Manchego.
